Originating from Cardiff, Dr Sian Jones graduated from Liverpool University in 2002. Sian worked as an associate at Chepstow when she first moved back to Wales, before becoming the principal dentist in September 2007.
Sian enjoys every aspect of her work but has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and is constantly undertaking postgraduate training in order to bring the newest techniques to Chepstow. This has included implant training with Harley Street dentists and advanced cosmetic training at the Perfect Smile Acadamy.
Jon graduated from the London Hospital medical school in 1986. Jon has worked in the Ascot/ Windsor area in his own private practice since qualifying. He moved to Wales in 2008 and joined Chepstow as an associate in 2013.
Clinical interests include: cosmetic, tooth whitening and Orthodontics using the CFast system. Jon is also a practitioner with a special interest in Endodontics (root fillings) and takes referrals from the other practitioners in this field. Jon studied in Dubai for part of the Endodontics course.
Outside the practice Jon also has never grown up and still rally's old cars!
Maria graduated in 2005 from the Dental School at the University of Medicine 'Carol Davila', Bucharest, relocating with her husband to the UK in 2011.
Maria is an enthusiastic and hardworking dentist who enjoys most aspects of general dentistry. With a vast experience, she confidently approaches complex cases, including paediatric dentistry, endodontics (root fillings) and aesthetic restorations - all based on her postgraduate training, which included multiple courses attended in both the UK and abroad.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys reading, yoga and travelling.
After her 2 children started school in 1993, Chris started to work in the Village Dental Practice and loved it! She qualified as a dental nurse in 1994 and continued training, qualifying as an Oral Health Educator in 1995.
As her children became more independent, Chris applied to Cardiff University for the Dental Hygienist course and managed to secure one of the 18 places that over 500 hopefuls had applied for. In 2006 Chris graduated and absolutely loves her career.
Outside of work, Chris loves spending time with her family, walking, baking and reading.
Alison qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2002 and we were thrilled when she joined our team in 2025, reunited with Principal Sian Jones and Lead Dental Nurse Deborah Friendship! With her gentle touch and warm, friendly manner, she’s great at helping patients feel at ease—whether you're visiting for a simple scale and polish or periodontal care.
Alison brings a big, fun-loving personality to the practice, and her positive energy is infectious! Outside of work, she enjoys walks with her partner, Sue, and their three mischievous Frenchies.
Vic started her career in dental nursing in 2013. She joined us at Chepstow Dental Care in 2016.
Vic loves to learn and is always keen to keep up with current dental trends. Sha attends various seminars and training courses, ensuring that she is always working to the best of her abilities.
Outside off work Vic is a keen traveller and enjoys exploring new places with her husband. Vic spends most of her weekends with family and friends.
Deborah brings a wealth of nursing experience and calm to the practicing have started her career in dentistry in 1990 in this very same practice. She has come full-circle and returned to Chepstow Dental Care in spring 2025. Deborah is a very much valued member of the team, guiding the nurses with her vast knowledge and impeccable eye for detail.
In her spare time, you will find Deb walking her Cockapoo, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Chloe has been a practising dental nurse since 2010 and has worked as a senior nurse for most of that time. Chloe loves her job and the busy environment she works in. Chloe says “making sure our patients are comfortable and at ease throughout their treatment is the most important thing to me.”She especially enjoys working with children and has three beautiful young girls of her own.

Kirsty joined the practice in 2019 having enjoyed an incredibly wide and varied career, predominantly as an Executive Personal Assistant for company Chief Executives. Some of the industries she has worked in include music, television, restaurants and hospitality and management consultancy to name but a few. In more recent years, Kirsty has worked in the administrative side of a private physiotherapy clinic locally. Kirsty joined the practice as a patient (and please note an exceptionally nervous one!) and particularly enjoys reassuring nervous patients so that they may be able to overcome their fears and phobias.
Outside of work, Kirsty likes to keep fit either by walking her whippets, playing tennis, yoga or pilates.
Catherine joined the practice to work alongside Kirsty in spring 2024. You will find her on the main reception desk taking calls, meeting patients and organising appointments. After work she is often found posting news on social media about everything we have been up.
As well as manning the reception desk for several days each week, she has also run her own event florist business for the past 16 years and is a professional landscape architect. Catherine has also recently become a volunteer for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board working at Chepstow Hospital.
In her spare time, Catherine will be found walking her energetic Jack Russell Buster and of course gardening!
Lilia joined the practice in 2023 and is one of our enthusiastic trainee dental nurses. Whether she’s welcoming patients with a friendly smile, assisting in surgery, or helping behind the scenes, Lilia plays a key role in keeping our clinic running smoothly.
She’s soon to begin her City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma, where she’ll continue to develop her skills in patient care, infection control, and clinical support—building on her already impressive dedication to the role.
Outside of dentistry, Lilia is our very own dancing queen and proudly holds a collection of dance awards and trophies. While she’s stepped back from competitive dance for now, she brings that same passion and commitment to her work and her involvement with Gloucestershire’s Young Farmers Club.
Lucy joined our team in September 2024 and brings a warm, enthusiastic presence to the practice as one of our trainee dental nurses. She is currently working towards her City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma and is thoroughly enjoying expanding her knowledge and skills as she grows within our team.
Kind, approachable, and always eager to help, Lucy has a particular interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Beauty Aesthetics. Her passion for patient care shines through in everything she does.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys staying active—whether she’s exploring the outdoors, hitting the gym, or spending quality time with her daughter.
